How the 87.3 Million Drams of Tigran Avinyan's Swearing-In Were Spent

The swearing-in ceremony of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan cost 87.3 million drams, including VAT, with the procurement made from a single source. This information was provided by the Yerevan City Hall in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.

Avinyan's swearing-in took place on October 13, attended by the country's highest authorities. The city hall noted that the ceremonial part of the swearing-in was modified, with the hall specially decorated. An inscription on the founding of the city was brought from the Erebuni Archaeological Museum to the city hall, among other decorations.

The contract was signed with the company "Beground," and 50% of the funds were allocated for the organization and execution of the ceremony, as well as for the purchase of decorations, props, carpets, costumes, platforms, and others.

The staff of the Yerevan City Hall assured that the purchased decorations would later be used for the mayor's swearing-in ceremonies, the Erebuni-Yerevan festivities, the Erebuni archaeological reserve-museum, the Yerevan History Museum, and other events.

Regarding whether city hall employees received bonuses in connection with the Erebuni-Yerevan holiday on October 11, the city hall provided a negative response.
