VIDEO: No Rent Paid for Properties Owned, but Utilities Allowance Provided
The process of making cash payments to forcibly displaced persons is ongoing. More than 80,000 individuals have already received financial transfers. This was announced today by the spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
Baghdasaryan emphasized that there are currently approximately 28,000 children's applications being processed. The Prime Minister's spokesperson noted that sometimes forcibly displaced individuals face issues related to the registration process and access to cards.
“In cases where citizens do not have access to their card accounts, the funds are returned to the state budget. Information is sent to the Unified Social Service, and the new bank account number is clarified via communication to transfer the funds again,” said Baghdasaryan, adding that there is no need for concern in such cases.
She reiterated that individuals who own property in Armenia do not receive rent payments, but they do receive funds allocated for utility expenses. For more details, watch the video.
