VIDEO: "Developers without completion documents and operation permits will be fined," Avinyan

The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has addressed the issue of developers operating buildings without the necessary operation permits. He stated, "Those developers who do not have a completion document and an operation permit will be fined," adding that obtaining an operation permit requires first having a completion document.

According to the legal code, the first fine will amount to 500,000 to 700,000 AMD, while if a developer continues to operate after being fined, the fine will increase to 1 to 1.5 million AMD.

"We are entering a new phase where everyone must obtain their completion documents. Construction with design deviations will pose significant problems for developers. Therefore, we ask and urge everyone to remain within the framework of project documentation and to carry out the projects they committed to when submitting documents to the municipality," he said.
