Georgia Can Become a Successful Mediator Between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Says Deputy Speaker
“Georgia can be a successful mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” stated Gia Volski, the Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament.
“Georgia has a sufficiently high reputation; therefore, it can be a successful mediator between Azerbaijanis and Armenians. The main thing is that these two countries and their leaders want to use Georgia's resources in that direction. There should be peace in the South Caucasus; our families need peace,” Volski emphasized.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili also expressed willingness to mediate in establishing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
