Azerbaijani Armed Forces and Peacekeepers Organize Joint Duty Near Shushi
Joint duty is being organized at the checkpoints at the entrance to Shushi by the Azerbaijani army and Russian peacekeepers. This was reported by a correspondent from 'RIA Novosti' on the ground.
In particular, Azerbaijani military armored vehicles and Russian peacekeepers' armored personnel carriers are stationed at one of the city’s entrances.
It is noted that on September 19, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale assault against Artsakh, violating the ceasefire along the entire line of contact and delivering missile strikes.
On September 20, it became known that the authorities of Artsakh accepted the proposal from the command of the Russian peacekeeping force to cease hostilities.
On September 21, a meeting between representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan took place in Azerbaijan’s Yevlakh with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers.
