Video: The Situation is Very Severe Here, Ruben Vardanyan Calls on Armenia to Recognize Artsakh's Independence

The situation is very severe here. This was stated by the former Prime Minister of the Artsakh Republic, Ruben Vardanyan, in a video posted on his Telegram channel a short while ago from Stepanakert.

“A large-scale military operation has been launched by Azerbaijan against the 120,000 residents of Artsakh, including 30,000 children, pregnant women, and the elderly... listen, you can hear the sounds of gunfire,” he says in the video.

He noted: “The impunity of the Azerbaijani leadership is astounding; they allow themselves to destroy people on the day of the UN session. Prior to this, they had also blocked us, presumably because they felt they would remain unpunished. I call on the whole world to impose sanctions against Azerbaijan. I urge Armenia to recognize the independence of Artsakh and our right to self-determination.”
