Largest Troop Movements Record Since 2020 War: ‘Hraparak’
On September 6, Acting President of Artsakh Davit Ishkhanyan convened a working consultation focused on the current situation in Artsakh. Participants included State Minister and presidential candidate Samvel Shahramanyan, leaders of security agencies, and representatives from all factions of the National Assembly. This information was reported by the newspaper ‘Hraparak’.
Despite the official statement only mentioning a single line regarding the border situation: ‘Defense Minister and Artsakh Defense Forces Commander Kamo Vardanyan reported on the situation along the line of contact with Azerbaijan and the measures being taken to ensure the security and defense of Artsakh,’ this was the main topic of discussion.
Sources informed the news outlet that a significant troop movement has been recorded at the borders of Artsakh, marking the largest since the 44-day war in 2020. In recent days, the Azerbaijani media landscape has been flooded with reports and videos concerning troop movements and military equipment accumulation.
