Armenian Foreign Ministry on the Issue of Transferring Helen Dadayan's Remains

The issue of transferring Helen Dadayan's remains to Artsakh is a glaring example of the politicization of the humanitarian agenda, and regarding this matter, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in constant contact with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

This was stated to 'Azatutyun' by the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry.
'The Armenian Foreign Ministry raises the issues stemming from the inhumane blockade caused by Azerbaijan's illegal obstruction of the Lachin corridor in communications with international partners. The issue of transferring Helen Dadayan's remains to Artsakh is a striking example of the politicization of the humanitarian agenda and once again highlights Azerbaijan's blatant disregard for human rights.' The spokesperson further noted that the ministry maintains constant contact with the ICRC.

It is worth recalling that Helen Dadayan's body, who tragically lost her life in a car accident between Gyumri and Yerevan, has been in the Goris morgue for over three weeks. Azerbaijan is preventing the transfer of the deceased student's remains to her parents in Artsakh, in Chartar.
