Drones Shot Down in Kursk and Belgorod Regions

In Russia's Kursk region, two Ukrainian drones have been neutralized, reported the region's governor Roman Starovoyt.

According to the governor, the incidents occurred on September 3 in border areas near the village of Kozino in the Rilsk district and near the village of Gornal in the Sudzhansky district.

Both drones were detected with the help of electronic warfare complexes. Starovoyt added that there were no casualties or injuries.

Earlier, the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that during the day on September 3, an air defense system was activated near Belgorod, and one drone was shot down as it approached the city. There have also been no reports of casualties or damage.

The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the drone attack in the Belgorod region.

Border areas in Russia, particularly Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions, are frequently subjected to shelling and drone attacks.
