Due to the Closure of the Artsakh Road, Goris and Tegh Have Become Isolated: Tatoyan
“Unfortunately, our country has severe security issues.” This was stated by the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, on his Facebook page.
“It has been forgotten that there are illegal Azerbaijani armed formations within Armenia, which have disrupted our country's security with their criminal actions and presence, making life impossible for many people in Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik regions.
Due to the closure of the Artsakh road, Goris and Tegh have become isolated (the road to Artsakh previously passed through here); Azerbaijani armed forces are openly obstructing Kapan's air connections with criminal fire, while the safety of land routes remains compromised, and more,” Tatoyan wrote.
He also added that his upcoming working visit to Syunik is not merely for fact-finding purposes but includes several other important initiatives.
