One of the Injured in the Tragic Shirak Accident Discharged, Says Armenian Ministry of Health
Five injured individuals are still receiving treatment in medical centers across the country following an accident in the Shirak region. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
One of the injured has been discharged, while three others are in various departments, their health conditions characterized as moderate or satisfactory. One of the injured is receiving treatment in the resuscitation unit and has shown signs of improvement. Doctors assess their health status as stable but severe.
Additionally, the health of one injured person is regarded as unstable and extremely critical, and they remain in the resuscitation unit.
It is important to recall that on August 14, around 00:30, a head-on collision occurred between a passenger Volkswagen Crafter and a cargo ЗИЛ vehicle on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, specifically at the 90 km mark in the administrative area of Lanjik village. As a result of the collision, 11 people lost their lives, while 6 others were transferred to Gyumri Medical Center with extremely serious diagnoses.
