Trump Jokes About Fleeing to Russia to Share 'Truffles' with Vladimir
Former U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the prosecutor's decision to set a $200,000 bail in the election interference case against him. Trump mentioned that he feared a possible escape to Russia.
“I think he was thinking there was a danger that I might fly far away, possibly to Russia; I would share golden dome 'truffles' with Vladimir, and no one would see or hear from me,” Trump joked, not specifying which Vladimir he was referring to.
Earlier reports indicated that Trump was released on a $200,000 bail.
