VIDEO: How Heavy Rain Floods Wildberries Warehouse Roof in Russia

In the city of Elektrostal, Moscow Region, heavy rainfall has caused damage to the roof of the Wildberries warehouse. The company’s press service informed RBC that due to the damage to the roof, rainwater has flooded nearly 500 square meters of the area, while the entire warehouse occupies about 250,000 square meters.

Warehouse staff have been promptly evacuated from the flooded area, and there are no reported injuries. Internet footage shows how a strong stream of water breaks through the roof and fills the warehouse where goods are stored.

As a result of the incident, rainwater has inundated parts of the warehouse. Some boxes containing products ended up submerged in water, while others have been piled against the walls of the warehouse due to the water flow.

It is also noted that renovation work at the warehouse has already begun. The extent of the damage will be determined as part of the inventory process, after which vendors will be compensated for the value of the damaged goods.
