Attempted Drone Attack on Moscow and Moscow Region by Kyiv Prevented, Says Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that an attempted drone attack targeting objects in the city of Moscow and the Moscow region was thwarted today during the day.

In a statement, it was noted, “At midday today, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs directed at objects in the Moscow and Moscow region territories was prevented.”

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that the drones were detected by air defense duty forces. They were suppressed using electronic warfare measures, after which the UAV lost control and crashed in a desolate area near the settlement of Putilkovo in the Krasnogorsk city district.
