Tensions Rise: Details from the KP Administrative Meeting
The newspaper "Zhoghavorud" reports that on July 25, a meeting of the KP board was held, chaired by Nikol Pashinyan. New details have emerged regarding the closed meeting of the KP from "Zhoghavorud".
First, we learned that the meeting lasted over two hours and was quite heated, especially concerning the upcoming council elections. The issue at hand is that the KP members have yet to reach a final decision regarding the appointment of Armen Pambukhchyan's deputies; various names are in circulation, but there has still been no clear decision. According to our sources, the final say on this matter rests with Avinyan.
Interestingly, there was no mention of the catastrophic situation created in Artsakh, nor were security issues addressed; the discussions focused solely on internal party matters related to membership and the municipal elections.
It’s worth noting that according to the CEC website, the KP party has 3,000 members, and they have not managed to increase this number.
