Ukrainian Authorities Were Interested in the EU Rejecting Georgia's Candidate Status, Says Gharibashvili
Ukrainian authorities were interested in the European Union rejecting Georgia's bid for candidate status in 2022. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, as reported by TASS.
“I know that last year Ukraine was one of the countries that was interested in us not receiving candidate status. Unfortunately, this is a reality, and many of our European leaders have confirmed this to me,” Gharibashvili told reporters.
