Stoltenberg Condemns Russia's Unilateral Decision
The NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has condemned the Russian Federation's decision to cease participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative. He released his statement on Twitter.
“I condemn Russia's unilateral decision to withdraw from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, despite the efforts of our ally Turkey and the UN. Russia's illegal war against Ukraine continues to harm millions of vulnerable people around the world,” the message reads.
It is noteworthy that Russia announced the withdrawal of navigation safety guarantees under the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which ceased operations on Monday, July 17.
