Peskov Responds to How the Return of 'Azov' Will Affect Gas Hub Construction in Turkey
Russia's presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated in a press briefing whether the transfer of Ukrainian 'Azov' commanders by Ankara would affect the construction of a gas hub in Turkey.
Peskov emphasized that this is in no way related, and Moscow intends to continue its multilateral relations and mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation with Turkey.
However, during the dialogue, Moscow expects to receive appropriate clarifications and will continue to take this situation into account when reaching further agreements in various sectors. He pointed out that the return of 'Azov' to Ukraine constitutes a violation of agreements.
Peskov also expressed hope that the latest developments would not spoil the relations between Russia and Turkey.
