Former White House Adviser Comments on Delivery of Cluster Munitions to Ukraine

US President Joe Biden is making the right decision by sending cluster munitions to Ukraine, believes former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton, as reported by The Hill.

According to him, Washington should have taken this step much earlier.

“I think it’s a great idea. We should have done it before the Ukrainians asked for it. The American military has used cluster bombs to protect our forces and to successfully confront the enemy. The Ukrainians know that,” Bolton stated during an appearance on WABC radio's Cats & Cosby show.

He also added that the current consequences of such a decision do not matter because the question is who will win the conflict.

Bolton emphasized that this munitions will aid Ukraine. Earlier, it was reported that President Biden confirmed that the supply of cluster munitions to Ukraine is a temporary measure for the period until Western countries increase the production of conventional rounds.
