Erdogan Specifies Conditions for Sweden’s NATO Membership Application Approval
The President of Turkey has specified the condition for the approval of Sweden's NATO membership application, linking it to Turkey's membership in the European Union. This information was reported by Telegram channels.
“They made us wait at the EU's door for over 50 years; you are paving the way for us, while we are for Sweden,” Erdogan stated.
Previously, it was reported that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey can no longer approve Sweden's accession to NATO due to Sweden's support for terrorists.
