Azerbaijani Armed Forces Open Fire from 60mm Mortar in Martuni Region: Artsakh Ministry of Defense
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire regime in the Martuni region of Artsakh today. This information is reported by the press service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
"On July 7, from 19:00 to 19:26, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the Martuni region by opening fire from small arms and a 60mm mortar towards a combine working in the fields of the village of Machkalashen," the statement said.
It has been reported that there are no casualties on the Armenian side.
Information regarding the ceasefire violation has been communicated to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
It should be noted that yesterday afternoon, the Azerbaijani side again violated the ceasefire regime in the Martuni region. Azerbaijani combat positions opened fire with various caliber small arms towards three citizens conducting repair work on an artesian well in the administrative territory of the village of Berdashen.
