VIDEO. Number of People Seeking Medical Help in Baku After Earthquake Revealed
Following the earthquake in Azerbaijan, 34 people sought medical assistance in the capital, Baku. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
It is noted that the emergency medical stations were approached by 26 women, 5 men, and 3 children. Out of the affected, 32 received appropriate medical care on-site, while 2 were hospitalized.
The complaints from the victims were mostly related to high blood pressure, acute stress reactions, various injuries, and pains.
It is reminded that on July 4th at 00:01 local time, an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the Caspian Sea. The epicenter of the seismic shocks was located 80 km northeast of the Khachmaz region. The tremors were felt quite strongly in Baku and several other regions of Azerbaijan. Many residents in the capital panicked and left their homes.
