Turkey and Egypt Fully Restore Diplomatic Relations After Ten Years
Turkey and Egypt have fully restored their diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level after 10 years. This was reported by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Republic of Turkey and Egypt announce the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries at the ambassadorial level. Turkey has proposed the candidacy of Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen for the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Cairo,” the statement said.
