Arayik Harutyunyan Sent a Letter to Vladimir Putin

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This information was reported on the Facebook page of Tigran Petrosyan, the head of the Artsakh Anti-Crisis Council, without disclosing the content of the letter.

“The government has sent a letter to Putin, presenting the dire situation of the country and its people. I believe that if we do not see concrete actions from Russia tomorrow, silence will be equivalent to destruction… Tomorrow, we will be patient, and then we must erupt like a volcano—for the sake of our children, for our dignity,” Petrosyan wrote, expressing the opinion that most Artsakh residents have believed not in the words of the leaders of Armenia or Artsakh, but in those of Russian President Putin, who promised that Armenians in Artsakh would live safely and with dignity.

“Today we are not living; we are merely surviving, while those who promised us security, dignity, and free movement are transporting food by helicopter for themselves, leaving us in such conditions,” he noted.
