VIDEO: "Any Walk by Pashinyan is a Provocation Against Citizens" - Taguhi Tovmasyan
The country’s Prime Minister is enjoying leisure walks in the streets of Yerevan, affecting citizens who have some form of protest or dissatisfaction and are trying to express it. This was stated by Taguhi Tovmasyan, the chairperson of the Human Rights Committee and an opposition MP, during a press briefing with journalists.
“I have no information on whether Varuzhan Avetisyan’s son has managed to say anything. It appears that Nikol Pashinyan cannot be approached in any meaningful way. Previously, he used to walk in the streets, people would approach him, take pictures with him, offer him services,” she remarked.
According to Tovmasyan, this is condemnable, and any walk by Nikol Pashinyan is a provocation against the citizens of Armenia.
Recall that yesterday, the National-Democratic Axis issued a statement indicating that David, the son of the leader of the “Sasna Tsarere” group Varuzhan Avetisyan, has been arrested. Varuzhan Avetisyan’s daughter, Ani Avetisyan, also made a post regarding the incident, writing: “About 1 hour ago, my brother Davit Varuzhan Avetisyan was abducted from the yard of the ‘English’ park. According to an eyewitness, my brother approached the so-called Prime Minister and his wife to raise his voice in protest. Then my brother was pulled and forcibly taken away in an unknown direction.”
