Video: Aftermath of Attack on Mayor's House in Laï-le-Roz

Footage has been released showing the burned vehicle of the mayor of Laï-le-Roz. Police are on the scene.

Earlier, we reported that the mayor of Laï-le-Roz, Vincent Jeanbrun, stated that unknown individuals attacked his home and attempted to set it on fire, resulting in injuries to his wife and children.

“Last night, my house was attacked, and my family became victims of an assassination attempt. My wife and my two children are in shock and injured,” his statement reads.

Jeanbrun detailed that the attack occurred late at night, and the assailants were in a vehicle. The mayor has not disclosed the condition of the affected family members. According to BFMTV, the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation, and a case has been opened under the article of “attempted murder.”
