Vahe Ghazaryan's Wife Receives Appointment
Interior Minister Vahe Ghazaryan's wife, Lusine Meliksetyan, has received an official position. This information is reported by the newspaper "Hraparak".
She has been appointed as the head of the education department of the Norq-Marz administrative district of Yerevan city hall, effective June 1. Previously, Ghazaryan's wife was a chemistry teacher at the No. 1 secondary school in Ijevan; however, as we can see, the family has moved to Yerevan and even received official appointments following her husband's rise.
The Yerevan city hall confirmed this information in a conversation with us, stating that Lusine Meliksetyan was appointed to this position at the beginning of June.
According to the declaration of assets, income, expenses, and interests submitted to the Corruption Prevention Commission for the year 2022, Vahe Ghazaryan's wife, Lusine Meliksetyan, purchased an apartment last year, for which she paid 22 million drams to the company “ARM KONSTRAKT 1” as a loan. She has 598 euros and 374 million drams in the bank, and has declared 2 million drams as cash. The income of the Interior Minister’s wife in 2022 amounted to 24 million drams, out of which 22 million was a mortgage from Ameriabank, and 2.4 million drams was her salary from the Yerevan city hall.
