Levon Zurabyan Responds to Nikol Pashinyan
Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress, has responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's speech at the parliamentary investigative committee examining the circumstances of the 44-day war.
“The show staged by Nikol Pashinyan in the parliamentary investigative committee reaffirmed my assertion that he will no longer engage in anything useful for our state and will devote the remainder of his life to the futile effort of purging his guilt from the disastrous war before our people and history,” stated Zurabyan.
“The main task of the investigative committee should have been to identify the causes of our defeat and hold the guilty accountable. This includes the war effort, the supply of ammunition and armaments, intelligence, mobilization, and the organization of military logistics, for which the main responsible party has been none other than Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who should have long been removed from governing the country for all these failures.”
Zurabyan emphasized that the fact that Pashinyan focuses solely on the diplomatic process in his testimony is both an attempt to evade responsibility for failures in various domains and a subconscious confession that it is primarily through the failure of diplomacy that he has brought this catastrophe upon our people.
Zurabyan also noted that he will address this topic in a separate article.
