Russia is not opposed to other international actors mediating between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Lavrov
Russia is not opposed to international players attempting to mediate between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting of the foreign ministers of CSTO member countries in Minsk.
"We are not against other international players trying to assert their capabilities in the mediating field," said Lavrov, while cautioning: - "The important thing is that this mediation aims to guarantee agreements that will reflect the interests of the Armenian and Azerbaijani peoples, as well as the Armenian and Azerbaijani states in a balanced manner."
