Investigative Commission to Invite Artsakh President
The investigative commission examining the 2020 war will also invite the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan. This was announced by the chairman of the commission, Andranik Kocharyan, during a press briefing with reporters.
“After Mr. Pashinyan, other important officials need to come. We are planning to invite the President of Artsakh. We have invited the commander of the Defense Army, we've just swapped the locations. I would have liked Jalal Harutyunyan to come a bit later,” said Kocharyan.
Regarding former Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan, Kocharyan indicated that he suggested making the investigative commission a platform for the clash of opinions. “I have offered Mr. Tonoyan a meeting in any format of his choosing twice. We can go to his place, he can come here. Tonoyan was merely saying, ‘I will come and debate with Pashinyan live.’ This is an investigative commission, it is not a platform for a show,” he stated.
