If a village lacks a school, clinic, internet, and road, how can a person live? Pashinyan
When we spoke about the construction of educational complexes, we stated that the roads leading to schools from surrounding villages should be reconstructed and improved. This was mentioned today, June 16, during a government meeting by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“When we build an educational complex somewhere, the next issue should be the road, and then the next issue should be the availability of healthcare outpatient services in the same logic. We are not saying that every village should have a clinic, but there should be access to outpatient services at a reasonable distance with a proper road. Now, we create a school, build a road, establish a clinic, but the village has very few residents. Our next action is that we have programs for purchasing apartments with certificates and construction of apartments that we offer to citizens. In those areas where we are making state investments but have a population issue, we are reformulating other programs and adding bonuses specifically in named settlements. In other words, we are telling people that if you purchase an apartment with a purchase certificate in these villages where we already have a school and kindergarten, we will add an extra percentage to your purchase certificate, making it more affordable for the beneficiary,” Pashinyan noted.
According to Pashinyan, when studying the state of depopulated villages, they see that living conditions do not exist there. “For example, if there is no school, no kindergarten, no road, no healthcare, no internet, how can a person live?”
