Blinken and Stoltenberg Meet in Washington: Discussion Highlights Revealed
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Washington.
The two sides discussed the priorities for the upcoming summit in Vilnius, scheduled for July 11-12, including further support for Ukraine, strengthening the alliance's deterrence and defense mechanisms, and Sweden's commitment to NATO membership, as stated by U.S. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.
The head of the U.S. State Department proposed that Kyiv be provided with a "strong package of political and practical support" during the Vilnius summit.
