G7 Decisions Are Politicized and Unpleasant: Russian Foreign Ministry
The decisions made at the G7 summit are politicized and unpleasant, stated the Russian Foreign Ministry while commenting on the meeting of the leaders of the group in Hiroshima, Japan.
"The main outcome is a collection of statements saturated with unpleasant anti-Russian and anti-Chinese sentiments. Thus, once again, the results of the 'Group of Seven' event become politicized decisions aimed at creating dividing lines in international relations," the Russian foreign policy agency stated.
It was noted that the 'Group of Seven' once represented a unification where its members coordinated their positions on various issues of the global agenda. However, the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized, "But now it has irreversibly degraded."
Recall that the G7 summit was held in Hiroshima from May 19-21.
