Car Falls into Ditch on Yerevan-Ijevan Highway

On May 20, at 14:13, a call was received by the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center reporting that a vehicle had veered off the roadway and fallen into a ditch near the "Harsnakhard" restaurant complex. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting and rescue team from the ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 66th kilometer of the Yerevan-Ijevan highway, a BMW vehicle (driver: M. N.) veered off the roadway and slid into the area of the "Tsamakaberd" recreation zone; there were no injuries reported.

The rescuers cordoned off the area, disconnected the vehicle’s battery, and closed the gas tank valve.
