Images: Tree Falls in Schoolyard

A tree has fallen in a schoolyard, but no injuries have been reported. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On May 17, at 08:29, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that a tree had broken and fallen, blocking the pedestrian path adjacent to one of the school's buildings located at 28 Aram Khachaturyan Street in Yerevan. Electrical wires have been damaged.

A team from the firefighting and rescue unit of the Yerevan Emergency Services rushed to the scene. Rescuers cut up the fallen tree and moved it to a safe area; no damaged wires were observed.
