VIDEO: It is evident to all that the discussion concerns the withdrawal of troops from Armenian territory, says Deputy Foreign Minister

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Paruir Hovhannisyan, has expressed confusion over the statement made by the head of the EU delegation, Ambassador Andrea Victorin, regarding the presence of Armenian troops in border areas.

In response to journalists' questions, Hovhannisyan addressed this statement: "I find it unclear what the discussion is about. However, it probably pertains to the first war in Nagorno-Karabakh. It might be necessary to look at it from that perspective. But I find it difficult to say what it is about," he noted.

According to Hovhannisyan, this is likely an accepted format to address both sides. "But it is obvious to everyone that the discussion at this stage concerns the withdrawal of troops from Armenian territory, as stated by both the EU and the USA, among other partners," he added.
