Another Provocation: Zurabishvili on Russia's Visa Regime Cancellation

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, has described Russia's cancellation of the visa regime for Georgian citizens as "another provocation." According to the President, the restoration of direct air communication and the cancellation of visa restrictions with Georgia is unacceptable as long as Russia continues its aggression against Ukraine and occupies Georgian territories.

"It is yet another Russian provocation. The restoration of direct air communication and the cancellation of visa restrictions with Georgia is unacceptable as long as Russia continues its aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of our territories," the President wrote on her Twitter account.

It is worth mentioning that today Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees envisaging the cancellation of the visa regime with Georgia and the restoration of direct air communication.
