Accident on Kapan-Kajaran Road: There Are Injured

On May 4, at 07:49, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report of an accident on the Kapan-Kajaran highway, near the village of Dzagejdzor. There are injured individuals.

A firefighting-rescue unit dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department arrived at the scene. It was determined that vehicles involved in the accident on the 10th km of the M-2 road segment from Kajaran to Kapan were a Hyundai Elantra (driver: A.G., born in 1993) and a VAZ-2106 (driver: V.V., born in 1972).

Before the rescuers arrived, passengers L.G. (born in 1989) and D.V. (born in 1987) from the VAZ-2106 were hospitalized at the medical center in Kajaran, where doctors assessed L.G.'s condition as medium severity and D.V.'s condition as satisfactory. Meanwhile, V.V. was hospitalized at the medical center in Kapan, where his condition was also evaluated as moderate severity.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power.
