Photos: "You Won't Find Such a Road Anywhere in the World" - Vahan Tumasyan

Vahan Tumasyan, the president of the Shirak Center NGO, has published a photograph on his Facebook page along with the following caption:

“Here is the main road in Shirak province, stretching along the Armenian-Turkish border, the Gyumri-Armawir motorway. This is also the route for trucks entering from the Bavra customs checkpoint... You won’t find a road like this for tens of kilometers anywhere else in the world... Now, how can rural tourism and the development of semi-abandoned villages proceed under such neglect conditions...?”
