Azerbaijan Expresses Discontent Over Opening of Statue Dedicated to 'Nemesis' Operation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has addressed the opening ceremony of a statue dedicated to the 'Nemesis' operation, placing accusations against Armenia.
According to their statement, “The preparation of this monument, with the permission and approval of the relevant state bodies of Armenia, as well as the participation of the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan and other officials from the ruling party in the opening ceremony, is encouragement of terrorist policies and propaganda of terrorist operations carried out by Armenia.”
It is noteworthy that yesterday, a memorial-fountain commemorating the heroes of the 'Nemesis' operation was inaugurated in Yerevan.
