The Armenian People Continue to Fall Victim to Genocidal Policies: Marukyan's Statement
Edmon Marukyan, Armenia's ambassador-at-large, emphasizes that 108 years after the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian people continue to be victims of genocidal policies, this time in the context of ethnic cleansing policies implemented by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“108 years after the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian people continue to fall victim to genocidal policies, this time in the context of Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing policies in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is simply the 21st century, and after the Second World War, the world, with its institutions and legal political mechanisms, should prevent disaster in Nagorno-Karabakh and imply adverse international consequences for Azerbaijan's leadership,” tweeted Marukyan.
