Argishti Kyaramyan's Salary to Rise, Reaching 1 Million 916 Thousand Drams

At today’s government meeting, a draft amendment to the law on ‘Remuneration of Public Officials and State Service Positions’ will be discussed. This is reported by the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper.

The proposed amendments suggest increasing the monthly salary of individuals holding autonomous positions within the Investigative Committee, including the Chairman, Argishti Kyaramyan. They are proposed to receive a monthly bonus amounting to 92 percent of their official salary rate.

It should be noted that the official salary rate for the Chairman of the Investigative Committee is 998,200 drams. When adding the proposed monthly bonus of 918,000 drams, Argishti Kyaramyan will receive a total of 1 million 916 thousand drams monthly, funded by the taxes paid by our people.
