Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues a Statement
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement, once again attempting to distort reality by claiming that the Armenian side is the one engaging in provocations. The statement notably mentions that Armenia is not interested in the peace process.
"The provocations carried out by Armenia not only violate Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty but also seriously threaten regional peace and security.
As a result of Armenia's provocations, soldiers of the Azerbaijani army have been killed and injured. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan are taking all necessary measures and will continue to do so," the statement from the aggressor state's foreign ministry reads.
It is worth noting that today, on April 11, around 16:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire at Armenian military personnel carrying out engineering works in the Tegh community. The Armenian side has undertaken retaliatory actions. The situation remains tense, with the enemy also utilizing mortar systems.
