We Expect Regional Players Not to Intervene in the South Caucasus Settlement: Lavrov
Negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu have commenced in the Turkish capital Ankara. During a press conference following the talks, Lavrov addressed the situation in the South Caucasus and regional developments.
Lavrov specifically stated, “Russia expects that non-regional players will not intervene in the settlement of the South Caucasus, but will work with the parties to ensure that the trilateral agreements between Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are strictly upheld and implemented.”
It was previously reported that the negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu have begun in Turkey.
