Russian Defense Ministry on the Situation in Artsakh
In the last 24 hours, no violations of the ceasefire regime have been recorded in Nagorno-Karabakh. This information comes from the daily brief of the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is noted that the Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Russian peacekeepers are monitoring the situation and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire regime at thirty observation posts around the clock.
Patrols have been conducted in the Martakert and Martuni regions, as well as along the Lachin corridor on three routes.
Teams of engineer-sappers from the Russian peacekeeping contingent continue to clear explosives from facilities and terrain. Since November 23, 2020, a total of 2,526.6 hectares of land, 689.5 kilometers of roads, and 1,940 buildings have been cleared of unexploded ordnance and ammunition. Additionally, 26,790 explosive objects have been identified and neutralized.
