Confrontation Among MPs Occurs in the National Assembly

We have just reported that investigative actions are taking place in the National Assembly. Auroranews contacted Laura Antonian, the head of the Public Relations and Communications Department of the National Assembly, to clarify what is happening in the parliament and what actions are ongoing.

Antonian stated that a confrontation is currently occurring between ruling and opposition MPs. This is related to an incident that took place on March 31 during a closed meeting of the National Assembly's Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee between the committee chair and representative of the 'Armenia' faction, member of the ARF, Mher Sahakyan.
