Let there be a man, an article will be found: Bolton quotes Beria commenting on Trump’s arrest
Former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton commented on the accusations and arrest of former President Donald Trump during a CNN broadcast. Bolton stated that he recalled a saying, "let there be a man, an article will be found," which is attributed to Lavrenty Beria, the chief of the Soviet State Security.
Earlier, a New York court charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records. The former president asserted that there is no evidence of his guilt. The next court hearing is scheduled for December 4, 2023, and the case will essentially be examined only in January 2024.
Fox News has calculated the maximum possible sentence that former President Donald Trump could face after the indictment, which could be up to 136 years in prison.
