A Lot Depends on Us: Ruben Vardanyan on the Mandate and Armament of Russian Peacekeepers in Artsakh
The presence of 2000 Russian soldiers and officers is a very important element of security assurance. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, in his Telegram channel while answering questions from his followers.
"I am deeply convinced that what is happening to us amid this blockade and ethnic cleansing makes the presence of these 2000 Russian soldiers and officers a very important element of security assurance. Yes, it is incomplete, yes, unfortunately, with a limited mandate and minimal armament, but I am deeply convinced that a lot depends on us," he said.
According to the former Prime Minister, if we can unite as much as possible and show the world that we will not be part of Azerbaijan, and that we will do everything to live on our native land, "I am confident that both the international community and Russia will do everything to ensure that the peacekeepers have a longer mandate and more weapons."
