VIDEO: Restrictions on Military Personnel are Being Increased

The issue of increasing restrictions on military personnel is being discussed at the session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Defense and Security. The report is presented by Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan.

'Incentives and penalties will also be applied to military personnel who are called up for military service and participate in training gatherings. A new type of disciplinary penalty is being established, whereby the official salary may be reduced by 5-30%. This can last for a period of 1-3 months,' Sargsyan stated.

According to him, restrictions on military personnel will also include a ban on the use of smartphone-type mobile phones at any place of service, except in clearly defined cases.
