Armenia has always maintained a dignified, honest, and allied level of cooperation with the CSTO and all other international partners while simultaneously not subordinating its national interests to any other interests. This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, in an interview with "First News."

Speaking about the discussions regarding the ratification of the Rome Statute in the National Assembly, Simonyan noted that there have been no discussions on this matter. "This is not a positive step towards Russia, the meaning and essence of which I do not understand. There are numerous countries that have ratified it, and Armenia should not pioneer in this issue," he said.

The Speaker of the National Assembly regarded the talks about arresting Putin in Armenia as absurd: "It’s not that Armenia should take on this burden; it is absurd. We have always acted as a partner, and we have been correct in our relations, which allows us to criticize some of Russia's positions and actions that are incomprehensible to us today," Simonyan noted.
